On Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30 members of the Kansas Republicans will gather to celebrate 149 years of statehood. All those interested are invited to attend our NRA reception on Saturday, January 30 at the Capital Plaza Hotel from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Emerald 2 room. Event location can be found below.

NRA will be there passing out literature and sign-up sheets for sportsmen who would like to be more involved in the Right to Keep and Bear Arms Constitutional Amendment that will appear on the November 2nd, 2010 General Election ballot (Question 1). This Constitutional Amendment is crucial for all citizens and the protection of our Second Amendment Rights!

The Republican Kansas Days will be attended by numerous candidates for federal and state offices and has traditionally been a great opportunity to come out and meet them. The various event hosts will provide updates on federal and state issues affecting Kansans, such as United States Senator Sam Brownback, who will be the Keynote speaker at the Saturday evening banquet.*

*While the registration for the banquet has expired it may still possible to get tickets at the event.
